Pussycat Dolls este un grup muzical american, format iniţial din şase fete. Grupul era cunoscut ca unul de dans şi striptis. Casa de discuri Interscope Records a refăcut grupul, singura fată rămasă din vechea formulă fiind Carmit Bachar. După refacere, grupul a ajuns să fie format din Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt şi Carmit Bachar. Prima melodie lansată, „Don't Cha”, a fost un succes, clasându-se pe prima poziţie în peste 15 ţări,[1][2] inclusiv Regatul Unit, Australia, Noua Zeelandă şi România. De pe album au mai fost lansate alte cinci single-uri, trei dintre acestea având mare succes la nivel mondial.
Înainte de a începe înregistrările pentru cel de-al doilea album, Carmit Bachar a părăsit formaţia.[3] Grupul şi-a lansat cel de-al doilea material discografic de studio pe data de 19 septembrie 2008 în Olanda.[4] de pe album a fost lansată melodia „When I Grow Up”, care s-a clasat în top 10 în aproape toate clasamentele unde a activat. Cel de-al doilea single al albumului se intenţiona a fi „Whatcha Think About That”, însă datorită prezenţei slabe din SUA, single-ul a fost anulat şi „I Hate This Part” va fi lansat în locul său. Cel din urmă se intenţiona a fi umrătorul single după „When I Grow Up” doar în Europa şi Noua Zeelandă.
